Tokimeki Memorial celebrates 15 years

Everyone familiar with the Tokimeki dating sim franchise by Konami should be very familiar with this one. Tokimeki Memorial ~Forever With You~, the one that started it all (back in 1994 on the PC, 1995 for its console debut) will have yet again another remake in celebration for its 15th anniversary. The game is available for download for the PS3 and will be available for the PSP along with Tokimeki Memorial 4.

The game introduces improved graphics and animation in-sequences. Also, they now have voice actors! The game also introduces several new minigames as well as an arcade plug-in (how the arcade roulette works is beyond me) in order to access bonus art, scenes and codes readable by your PSP.

photo Nitroplus and 5pb has released their newest visual novel entitled Steins;Gate - released for the Xbox 360 (hoping that it will get ported to the PC soon). This is set one year after the events in Chaos;Head and yes, is an indirect sequel and will not have much content concerning the previous game. According to Tatsuya Matsuhara, producer of the game, this will be Nitroplus’ second installment for their ‘Science Novel’ stories and will feature Akihabara as its main setting. Other fun facts include concept of time, space, and time travel in this story.
And of course, the OP theme for Steins;Gate - sung by none other than Itou Kanako

Tsukihime Remake

Type-Moon has proudly announced, for their ten year anniversary, they will be releasing a remake of Tsukihime. This time with better art, music, and a revised story.

Just look at that scan! It’s almost screaming that Satsuki will now have her own route! Though words if the remake will still have erotic scenes are all over the air, until it’s announced; or even if it isn’t, I’m very much sure fans will love this all the same.

photo Type-Moon has announced one of their future pet projects titled Girl’s Work. There have been no release date announced nor any character nor the character designer. Nasu, Takeuchi and the usual Type-Moon major staff have, surprisingly, little to no part in this project. Instead, they feature two gifted writers Hoshizora Meteo and Jinroku Myogaya both coming from Liarsoft, another visual novel maker. Another confirmed staff is Teikoku Shonen who will be in charge for layout and scenes. Iuro is also another in charge for layouting and designs - not to mention some breath taking lighting effects.
The story is an otherwordly earth, where Shinjyuku and Paris have melded together. A place where people live their lives in the middle between fantasy and reality. A city that dreamed and dreams that dreamt of a city of flowers.

photo Type-Moon has announced that they will be making another visual novel based of another one of their light novel works. This time being Mahou Tsukai no Yoru. The story centers around Aozaki Aoko, the famous sorceress from Tsukihime who gave Tohno Shiki his sealing glasses. But this time, it’s at a time when Aoko was but a mere mage - a witch.
The time was around the end of the Showa Era, late 1980s, a young boy named Souichirou Shizuki happened to come by an old mansion, little did he know two witches reside there.
Type-Moon has stated the release date to be around 2010, no exact month though. So for fans of the Nasu-verse, expect an even expanded universe from this installment.
You can check out some additional concept art at their Official Site

Witch Hunt on 15% of Umineko’s episode 5

According to the Witch Hunt’s website, progress on the recently released 5th episode of Umineko no Naku Koro ni is already in 15% editing.

It won’t be long now, until we get the full patch for episode 5. This is worth the wait for readers and fans like me.
