Nitroplus and 5pb has released their newest visual novel entitled Steins;Gate - released for the Xbox 360 (hoping that it will get ported to the PC soon). This is set one year after the events in Chaos;Head and yes, is an indirect sequel and will not have much content concerning the previous game. According to Tatsuya Matsuhara, producer of the game, this will be Nitroplus’ second installment for their ‘Science Novel’ stories and will feature Akihabara as its main setting. Other fun facts include concept of time, space, and time travel in this story.

IT’S CATURDAY AGAIN!!!

It’s always fun watching fights like these.

In today’s feature, Kubori Kikiam is a satirical 4-koma (usually) comic strip by Michael David and Melvin Calingo; or more pupularly known as Taga-Kanal and Taga-Ilog respectively.

The comic features anthropomorphic Filipino street food known as kikiams which have the attitude and lifestyle as that of an average Filipino. They swear, they drink, smoke, watch porn, discuss nudity, day-to-day life, make fun of each other and many more.They also make references to pop-culture and breaking the fourth wall in some strips.

The history of Kubori Kikiam started as an independently published comic in UP Shopping Center. They then moved on and were published regularly in Culture Crash and even won an award for best comic at Komikon 2006. Since then, their comic strips are now being published in the web at their website.

Higurashi Daybreak Protable: MEGA EDITION

Top Alchemist, publisher for plenty of Playstation Portable Higurashi games had released a third person beat’em up game - Higurashi Daybreak Portable. And now they released a MEGA Edition that includes plenty of other bonuses. These includes three new characters Miyoko, Satoshi, and Okinogi from the original series.

If you pre-order, you can also get a free Higurashi themed keychain.

The game is slated to be released on November 26.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood third opening song!

Episode 27 marks another new opening montage and song for the Fullmetal Alchemist series. This time, the song is entitled: Golden Time Lover by Sukima Switch. You can find the full version at Gendou.com.

This opening montage shows a lot of spoilers for the upcoming episodes!

If you’re observant, you’ll find a certain Xing prince with the Homonculi… (You’ll find out soon who he is and what his role will be). Another spoiler is Alphonse’s scene against a bunch of “shadow hands.” Again, this is related to another Homonculus not yet revealed in the series. (One of the previous episodes show this mystery Homonculus talking to Wrath/King Bradley during his solo nighttime stroll).
